In the UK and the The Netherlands a lovely new re-release of the ABBA cd 'Arrival' is now available.
The CD/Book is nicely priced around 10 Euro. It is presented in a classy hardcover 'bookframe' and is part of a Classic Albums series which also includes Michael Jacksons 'Thriller', 'Faith' by George Michael and ' Rumors' by Fleetwood Mac. Due to its package the release has an original vinyl feel to it. For collectors: the release looks like the original French release of the Book/CD 'The ABBA Story'.
The artwork resembles the 2001 remasted Universal Music ABBA releases and features the booklet from 'Arrival' CD from that era.
The CD features all 10 classic songs from the original album from 1976 including 'Dancing Queen', 'When I kissed the teacher','That's me', 'Money, money, money', 'My love, my life' and 'Happy Hahaii'.
A press release by Polydor tells us that in the next few month ABBA's 'Super Trouper' and Agnetha's 'Wrap your arms around me' will also be released within the format of this high quality series.
